HONEYBOY BRIEFS
This independent venture was born out of not quite fitting into store-bought briefs. Elastics were too tight in the leg and too loose in the waist, there wasn't enough room in the pouch. Honeyboy strives for comfort and a sense of personal security in relaxing in your briefs with yourself and whoever you encounter without pants.
Currently offering everyday briefs, swim speedo-style briefs, and specialty requests.
Basic Brief Cut
Fabrics for everyday wear. I strive for lightweight, breathable and soft jersey knits in cotton/poly blends from many sources. Prints are curated and limited, and I'm able to shop for specific colors not listed in the gallery below.
Swim Brief Cuts
High or low waist options are up to your preference. Swim fabrics have a bit more body to them and the spandex blends are suited to hold up in the water. Bleed-proof and safe for chlorine environments, these fabrics are based in comfort and style and swim briefs are lined with a lightweight front panel.
Available Fabrics: Briefs
Brief fabrics are a collection of 4-way stretch jersey knits in cotton and cotton blends. I try to physically feel out textiles for maximum comfort.
Available Fabrics: Swim
Swim fabrics are more heavy bodied, and I am leaning towards spandex and knits that handle water well. These are more durable and structured with a thin, soft lining in the front panel.
How To Measure for Briefs
Pick your favorite pair of briefs and lay them flat onto a table. Measure the distance side to side of the elastic as pictured above. This is 1/2 the waist measurement of the finished elastic and will be a good reference for your ideal size. Also glad to take your natural waist measurement and create from there!

My name is Tyler Wilson
I am a freelance artist and have been working with textiles, stitching, and patterning for 15 years.
I have a Master's Degree in Costume Design and Technology from the University of Missouri, Kansas City and have worked with many dance companies allowing me to finesse my understanding of stretch-wear.
I currently live in Logan Square, Chicago where I work out of my home studio where all of the briefs are patterned, cut, stitched and processed.
